International Student Services
LBCC Campuses are closed to students and members of the public as of Tue, March 17, 2020. Student Services are not conducting business in-person until further notice. Please visit the LBCC Coronavirus COVID-19 website for alternative means of service.
International Admission: During this closure, we will assist you remotely with your admission inquiries, as well as intake and process of International Admission Applications. You will complete the online international admission application and upload the required documents, in PDF form through the online application. To access the list of required documents you may visit The International Students Program Requirements page. After you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with your application confirmation number within 48 hours.

As an international student, studying in the United States is a great way to build the future you desire, and studying at a community college like Long Beach City College is a smart (and affordable) way to start your higher education. Long Beach City College offers Associate Degrees, Transfer Programs, Vocational Certificates and intensive English language program. LBCC is located in sunny Southern California in the city of Long Beach, a modern urban center on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, with easy access to Los Angeles. The International Student Programs (ISP) offers specialized support and immigration advising to F-1 and M-1 status students on campus, as well as assistance to prospective students during the application process. Long Beach City College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Permanent Residents and US Citizens may apply for admission directly to the Admissions and Records office. Other types of visas applicants must change their immigration status to either F1 or M1 to be eligible for the International Student Programs admission.
