Megan Kaplinsky
Assistant Professor, Reading

When I was a young child, I stumbled across a copy of Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank. Her remarkable diary told the tale she lived during the Holocaust and illustrated her strong spirit. It inspired me to be aware of discrimination in the world and to speak out against it. I was able to take a memorable trip to Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, to visit the Anne Frank House museum.

Trisha Wilging
Assistant Professor, Reading

I began my education at Riverside Community College, and it was there that I developed a deeper love for literature, for teaching, and for the community college environment. Following my time at RCC, I transferred to the University of California, Riverside, where I continued to enjoy reading and any courses that allowed me to delve into texts. There I received my BA in English.
