Drawing & Painting

The Drawing and Painting program offers a wide range of courses in drawing, painting, design, illustration and printmaking. Beginning level courses focus on fundamental skills, materials, methods and techniques. Intermediate level courses provide students with the opportunity to address concepts, theories and strategies in contemporary art practice. All Drawing and Painting faculty are professional artists with extensive exhibition records. Students enrolling in Drawing and Painting classes can expect to develop their skills, earn an Associates Degree, and/or complete a portfolio for transfer to UC, CSU and private art schools.
