She is thrilled to begin her work as an Assistant Professor at Long Beach City College in Fall 2016.
Engaging with great students and collaborating with terrific campus colleagues continues to be an exciting and transformative experience for me here at Long Beach City College. I started my career at LBCC in 2004 as a full-time Reading professor in the School of Language Arts.
I began my education at Riverside Community College, and it was there that I developed a deeper love for literature, for teaching, and for the community college environment. Following my time at RCC, I transferred to the University of California, Riverside, where I continued to enjoy reading and any courses that allowed me to delve into texts. There I received my BA in English.
