Becoming a Foster Parent

The Resource Family Approval (RFA) training program is operated by The Community College Foundation (TCCF) through a contract with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). This program consists of a series of training workshops for potential Resource Parents (Foster/Adoptive). The Community College Foundation has provided pre-service training to thousands of potential Resource parents since 1989.
