Honors Program
The Honors Program is a General Education Program that will challenge you academically, prepare you for upper-division coursework in any field of study, and strengthen your transfer application. Honors courses fulfill General Education requirements in all Educational Plans.
Join the Honors Program, and you will be joining other highly motivated students who plan to transfer to four-year institutions.
Applications are accepted throughout the year.

Who is Eligible for the Honors Program?
Anyone can apply to the Honors Program at any time after they apply to LBCC if they meet the eligibility requirements. These include having a high school diploma or equivalent, being at least 18 years old, or being a minor enrolled through Dual Enrollment or Credit-by-Exam.

To earn Honors Certification, a student must be in good standing with the program and complete each of the following requirements the spring before transfer and submit an application to the Honors Program by April 10:
Honors Program Transfer Information & Agreements
Graduates of the LBCC Honors Program are eligible for priority consideration when they apply to transfer to certain baccalaureate institutions.
